Intimidation and/or Harassment of Hawaiians by Some Law Enforcement Officers

One of my best friends is a law enforcement official with over 20 years of experience and is a head of a department. I have the utmost respect for what some law enforcement officers do in their line of work. However at the peaceful protest there seemed to be an undercurrrent of intimidation and/or harassment of Hawaiians by some law enforcement officers. I took some pics which are below.

First of someone who identified herself as a reporter from the Honolulu Starbulletin:

Some photographers who took some pictures of the peaceful protestors:

Law enforcement officers kept telling us to stay within the cones for “our safety” and I don’t state this to incite but it verged on the brink of harassment based on the national origin of Hawaiians:

My overall review of law enforcement officers that day was that they were doing their job. However I am female and I noticed that the male officers seemed to try to intimidate and/or harass the males who were peacefully protesting *more.*

Of course the local *biased* press showed only what they want people to see.

I will post some videos and more pictures later 🙂
